Bargaining Update 6/23

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with Piedmont Airlines on June 11, 2025.

During a full day of negotiations, the Union and the Company exchanged proposals on the following articles:

CWA

  • Article 11 - Holidays
  • Article 17 - Benefits

Piedmont

  • Article 11 - Holidays
  • Article 12 - Vacation
  • Article 13 - Compensation
  • Article 14 - Leaves of Absence
  • Article 17 - Benefits
  • Article 24 - General & Miscellaneous

Negotiations resulted in agreement between the Union and the Company on items B and B.1 in Article 13 and item AA in Article 24. The Union is encouraged by the progress made during this session and remains committed to securing improvements in the Compensation, Holiday, and Benefits articles. While this marks a step forward, there is still work to be done. CWA will not stop fighting until every Piedmont agent gets the fair and just contract they deserve.

CWA continues to ask for accurate and transparent wage information from Piedmont. Because of the Union’s persistence, the Company has agreed to conduct a second audit covering all 7,500 passenger service members.  The Union will leave no stone unturned until all agents who were impacted by the Company’s errors are made whole. The company committed to providing the second audit results by June 20th. To date, the Union has not received it and we have sent the Company a request for an update on the audit status.

The next Piedmont bargaining session is scheduled for June 30, 2025 to July 2, 2025.

Now, more than ever, the Bargaining Committee needs your support as we work to secure a fair contract. There are many ways to get involved - sign up for bargaining updates and contact your local Mobilization Coordinator for upcoming mobilization activities.
