Piedmont Airline Workers Picket for Livable Wages & Safety

We are the workers at Piedmont Airlines who support safe, efficient departures by assisting with pre-flight check in, loading and unloading baggage, guiding planes on the tarmac, deicing planes, removing lavatory waste, and ensuring aircraft are inspected and safe before departure.

Despite working for one of the most profitable airlines in the country, routinely dealing with unruly passengers and enduring hazardous conditions, many of us rely on government assistance and lack health care coverage.

Over a year into negotiations, the company has yet to respond to critical proposals that will ensure job security and workplace safety for passenger service and ramp workers.

On October 28, 2024, Piedmont Airlines passenger service and ramp workers at 12 airports across the country will walk the picket line to demand better pay and safety conditions on the job.
