Tentative Agreement Reached at Piedmont Airlines!

On July 8, 2026, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) reached a tentative agreement covering 7,500 passenger services members at Piedmont Airlines. Your bargaining committee is currently working on releasing the full details of the agreement, which will be made available soon.
Below are the highlights of the negotiated Tentative Agreement:
Signing Bonus
Agents who have completed at least one (1) year of active service as of the date of signing (DOS) of the Agreement will receive a 6% bonus at the Date of Signing (DOS), with a minimum of five hundred ($500) dollars.
Wages
Compensation Bonuses
- An employee will have the opportunity to earn up to a $300.00 lump sum performance bonus payment on June 1st and December 1st of each year.
- An employee who meets the dependability metrics below shall be eligible for a $150.00 payment for dependability and a $150.00 payment for training.
Sick Time
- Full-time employees will now accrue one (1) hour of sick time for every thirty (30) hours worked up to a maximum of fifty-six (56) hours per year. Any unused sick hours may be carried over into the following calendar year(s) up to a maximum of three hundred (300) hours.
- The Company acknowledges an employee’s right to use sick time for the intended purpose. In accordance with Company policy, employees may use up to forty (40) hours of sick time per year, without being subject to disciplinary action.
Overtime
Shift swap hours in the same work week will now count toward the forty (40) hour qualifier.
Holiday
Martin Luther King (MLK) Day is now a paid holiday.
Vacation
- Any unused vacation that is not rolled over shall be paid out at the end of the year.
- Part-time employees may reserve one (1) week of vacation for the purpose of taking DAT vacation, to be paid at five (5) hours per day. NO MORE TEN HOURS!
- Agents will be eligible to bid and be awarded their entire vacation accrual at the time of their vacation selection. (No round robin!)
- If a full-time employee transfers to a part-time employee, the employee shall be scheduled as a part-time employee and paid out the remainder of their accrual at the end of the year.

Additional Benefits
- Employees who renew a SIDA badge outside their scheduled shift will be paid a maximum of two (2) hours at their straight-time rate. This provision shall NOT apply where the SIDA badge has expired.
- If a station requires a timepiece (watch), the company will provide a one-time reimbursement to an employee up to twenty-five dollars ($25) upon submission of a proper receipt within thirty (30) days of purchase.
Life Insurance
Piedmont will provide all full time employees with $50,000 of life insurance and AD&D insurance at no cost to the employee.
